Verona is a beautiful city - the colosseum and the churches are the highlights.

Venice was amazing - it would easily be one of my favourite European cities. I wish I had had more time to explore it.

Unfortunately the day we arrived in Florence there was a museum workers' strike - most were closed. It also has the nastiest set of one-way streets I've ever seen.

We only got time to see the famous leaning tower briefly in the evening and again in the early morning. Unfortunately, due to the way camera lenses work, it was difficult to capture the "leaning effect".
